Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book in advance?

Tickets must be purchased in advance of showing up at the event. We're expecting a lot of the sessions to sell out in advance.

What’s included in the session price?

Your ticket covers access to the slide using single and double rings for a full hour. Spectators don’t need to pay, only those taking part require a ticket. Wet suit hire is an additional cost, and can be purchased when booking tickets.

How long is each session?

Sessions run for roughly an hour and include a short safety briefing at the start. You will be notified 10 minutes before the end of your session to allow you to have your final slide.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend getting here around 30 minutes before your session. It can get busy, and check in takes a bit of time, arriving early means you can get sorted without rushing and be ready to go when your session starts

How does check in work?

Only the person who made the booking needs to check in, everyone else can head straight to the spectator area. Please make sure you have your tickets ready for scanning upon arrival. Once checked in and disclaimers are completed, stamps will be issued and you can relax until your group is called.

Do I need to complete a disclaimer?

Yes, every participant must have a completed disclaimer before taking part. If this isn’t done, we won’t be able to issue a stamp. We strongly recommend completing this in advance to avoid delays. If needed, you can download one before arrival. We do not offer paper versions onsite, it must be completed online.

Do I need to watch a safety video?

A few days prior to your visit, we will send you an emailer outlining all safety information, along with a short video for you to watch. We recommend watching the safety video before you arrive so you know what to expect. There will also be a short briefing on site before your session begins.

What should I wear?

You will get wet, so come prepared. Most people wear swimwear, shorts, and a t-shirt. As long as your clothing is suitable for water use and doesn’t include exposed zips, studs, or anything that could damage the slide, you’re good to go. Glasses are worn at your own risk and should be secured if needed. We recommend covering exposed skin to reduce the risk of friction burns, and all jewellery should be removed (earrings must be covered). If you want to body slide, you’ll need a wetsuit. You can bring your own or buy one on site, subject to availability. For footwear, you’ll need something with grip such as grip socks, wetsuit boots, or water shoes. Trainers aren’t allowed. Wetsuit zips must be on the back and covered by a flap. Grip socks are available to purchase onsite, subject to availability.

What facilities are available on site?

We’ve got everything you need for your visit, toilets, seating areas, and a catering trailer for snacks and drinks. There’s also a large on site car park for easy access.

Are there changing facilities?

We provide a limited number of screened changing areas for AFTER your session. Please arrive ready to slide.

Are there lockers?

We don’t have lockers, so we recommend leaving valuables locked in your car. Participants will have access to a bag drop area.

Can spectators come?

Yes, spectators are welcome and free. There’s seating and food available, so they can relax and enjoy the atmosphere while you’re on the slide.

Is there an age limit?

The minimum age is 4. Children aged 4 -12 must be accompanied on the slide by an adult at a 1:2 ratio. Those aged 13 -17 must have a responsible adult present on site at all times, either spectating or taking part. The supervising adult remains fully responsible for them throughout their visit.

Participants should be confident around water and able to access the slide. Spectators are not allowed on the launch pad or between the slides.

What are the safety rules?

All activities are supervised by trained staff, but you take part at your own risk.

All participants must complete a waiver and follow site rules. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian, and all instructions from staff must be followed at all times. Please visit our slide rules for more information on safety.

What if I arrive late?

We’ll get you checked in and briefed as quickly as possible so you can still join in. However, sessions can’t be extended, so you may miss some time, it’s always best to arrive early.

What happens in bad weather?

We operate in the rain, you’re going to get wet anyway.

In more extreme conditions like strong winds or thunderstorms, sessions may be paused or cancelled. If we cancel, you’ll be contacted to rearrange or receive a refund. If you haven’t heard from us, you should still travel as planned. We recommend checking your email and our social channels before setting off.

Are dogs allowed?

We love dogs however, we do not allow dogs onto the site.
